Ready to get handson and create something truly special? Join us for an unforgettable afternoon and evening of crafting and cuisine

In this unique workshop, you’ll first meet Piers Edsall, an accomplished artist blacksmith from Environmental Art. At the new community hub, The Parish Project, Piers will guide you through the ancient art of blacksmithing. You’ll learn traditional techniques to handforge your very own set of cutlery

Once your masterpiece is complete, we’ll head over to The Cook’s Place, where local legend Gilly Robinson will take the reins. Gilly, the owner and manager of this celebrated cookery school, will share some of her classic cooking secrets. You’ll put your new skills to the test and prepare a delicious dinner

The evening culminates with a feast where you’ll use the very cutlery you forged to enjoy the meal you prepared, all while savouring a glass of fizz. It’s the perfect way to truly appreciate the fruits of your labour
