Meat Masterclass (12 Jan 2024)
We are excited to offer a variety of masterclasses for those who wish to upskill and build on their culinary knowledge. All courses are designed for hands-on learning; covering elements of knife skills and preparation whilst combining the understanding of sourcing fresh, local, quality ingredients with the creativity and exploration to make the absolute best of them. You’ll sit down to enjoy your creations as you go.
On the Meat Masterclass, you’ll learn skills to give you the confidence and creativity to recreate the recipes using any meat you wish to use. You’ll create four dishes using locally sourced and excellent quality produce, learning elements of butchery and knife skills, as well as developing your preparation, sourcing, and planning skills along the way.
We are so lucky in Malton to have access to a range of beautiful, local meat, and this course is a celebration of our finest Yorkshire produce.
When game is in season, this will be a highlight of the meat masterclasses, from September to January. With local access to the North Yorkshire Moors, game is plentiful, fresh and delicious.
