Cancellation and transfer policy

Please take the time to make yourself aware of these terms and conditions ahead of making a booking for yourself or someone else.

Fees:

Fees for all courses, clubs and courses are payable in full in advance. We are able to take card and cash payments for drinks which are not included with your package.

Cancellation and Refunds:

As the majority of our bookings are made months in advance, it can be very difficult to resell places close to the date of the event. With ingredients needing to be ordered and purchased, late cancellations can have a significant impact on our business. With this, we appreciate there may be extenuating circumstances, and we will always try to help if we can.

If cancelled within 28 days of the date of the course, payments and vouchers are non-refundable. We would aim to find someone to take your place, and should we be successful we’d return 75% of your fees, minus an administration fee to find an alternative. If we are unable to fill the place, you’ll forfeit the full fees associated with your booking.

In an incidence of non-attendance, there will be no entitlement for any refund or transfer.

Cancellation of courses or events by The Cooks Place:

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone an event you have booked a place on, we will endeavour to inform you immediately, and either transfer or find a reasonable alternative at no additional cost to you. If we cannot for any reason, you will be entitled to a full refund.

Transfers:

Requests to transfer will always depend on alternative courses or events being available. Transferring onto a different course will incur a £20 administration fee. You will need to get in touch directly via email cooking@thecooksplace.co.uk within 28 days of the date of the course to request a transfer. If we are unable to fill your place on the original course, you will forfeit any course fees associated with your booking.
